The 14th installment of the Strikeforce Challengers Series is headed to a new city Feb. 18, sources close to the event said.
Strikeforce Challengers 14 will take place inside the Cedar Park Center in Austin, Texas. The 6,800-seat venue serves primarily as home to the Texas Stars, an American Hockey League team, and the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.
A lightweight fight between Lyle Beerbohm and Pat Healy will be the night's main event.
Beerbohm (16-0) is set to return to the Strikeforce cage after posting his last two wins outside the organization. The Washington-based lightweight holds a 3-0 mark in Strikeforce and has finished six of his past seven fights.
Healy (23-16) looks to bounce back from a third-round submission loss to Josh Thomson in June. He'd been riding a three-fight win streak before that setback.
The main card of Strikeforce Challengers 14 will be aired on Showtime.
